A scene appears, books on a shelf or a crowd of people or grapes on a bunch, for just long enough to look at and never long enough to count. Then it goes dark and you say how many there were. It is a counting game that is really an estimation game: you go by the size of the group, the way you know a room holds about forty people without tallying them.
Your estimate is scored in proportion to the true count, so being ten off a hundred is a good round and ten off twelve is not. Five scenes a day, one look each, the same five for everyone.
Counted is one of six free daily estimation games on Freehand. The others: Angled, angle estimation game; Halved, cutting game; Dropped, landing guessing game; Balanced, balance game; and Timed, time estimation game.
